Where do you even start with Lee Perry? He is the originator of Reggae and Dub, and the first person to ever record and use looped samples. He is responsible for producing hundreds of amazing songs and artists in Jamaica and abroad, even being flown out by Paul McCartney to help with songwriting. We have Scratch to thank for so many things- One of which being the entire genre of Hip Hop. Lee was a true pioneer and visionary!
We worked with the Perry family on this design which features a HUGE front and back design to honor The Upsetter, with a muted blend of natural cotton and gold ink colors.
Our prints are created using the highest quality, eco-friendly, water-based inks. Our printing technique ensures that the design is embedded into the fabric fibers, resulting in a vibrant look but has a subtle vintage feel. The final product has a soft, breathable texture that improves after the first wash, ensuring comfort and durability.
